We often see herons fishing off the shore of the park next to our house. On the day this photo was taken there were 7 that I could count, sometimes tussling for the best spot.[05.12.05]
While the noise of the crows seems to be our constant companion, it is the chickadees, nuthatches, pine siskens and other small birds that frequent our feeders that keep us entertained. Apparently the feeders are good for more than a meal.[05.06.05]
